Mission:
The Mission of Rapscallion Gives is to make a commitment to the community that we live in, not just to continue to do theatre that speaks on the human condition, but to do our part to better that condition; to ingratiate ourselves in our community with the pledge that we will exist not just in the theatre and rehearsal rooms but in the streets and alleys; and to charge ourselves to give as much back to the community as the community gives to us.
Where are we?
Headed up by company member, Lauren Reinhard, Rapscallions are out and about and helping out where ever we can. To begin, we have chosen to focus our energies primarily on the following causes: LGBT, Domestic Violence, Children and Youth, Hunger and Homelessness, and Human Rights. The groups that we are working with to further our goal of service are: Street Project, Children’s Aid Society, AIDS Walk, One Brick, NY Cares, and Amnesty International.
